Terrible food. Not authentic at all. Prices are expensive. We ordered fried dumplings but most of them are damaged.
This place used to be great but their food quality has dropped dramatically in the last year since I last came. I ordered the taro cakes, soy and cruller, gua pao, green onion pancakes, and a rice ball with fried egg. All of these were terrible today. The soy milk was completely diluted and void of any flavor and the gua pao and rice ball were dry and fell apart. The cruller was rock hard and the green onion pancakes tasted like focaccia bread. Also, there was trash strewn about all over the floor of the store and none of the staff bothered to clean it up for the 45 minutes we were there. I wouldnt have minded if the food was at least good.
Excellent Taiwanese breakfast restaurant. It is very easy to find since it is at a near-center location inside the Jeffrey/Irvine Center Drive plaza. Parking can be hard to find during busy times but sometimes you just need to park a little further in the open plaza car lot. They have a wonderful selection of traditional Taiwanese breakfasts including egg pancakes with fish/pork sung, rice cake with eggs, fried Taiwanese long donuts, hot/cold soy milk and rice milk, are all those needed to be tried because they are delicious. It is very busy during late breakfast and lunch hours but it is definitely worth the wait. Customer service is great; they will bring the food to your table even if you are having a takeout. Will definitely come back for more Taiwanese breakfast delight!
This is a must! The food is excellent. You absolutely won't be disappointed. And for anyone that wants some Taiwanese food, this is the place to go. I drive an hour just to have breakfast here sometimes. Love it!
Solid Taiwanese breakfast hot spot. Line may seem long but moves quick. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Must order dishes would be the fried taro cake with egg and the hot salty soy milk with the fried cruller. Everything else was mediocre - marinated beef sandwich, soup dumplings, and rice rolls.
