This place still has long line. We had to wait to get a tray. My go to chico bun, milk pudding, mocha bread were all good. They didnt have my usual brioche but had sugar one. I'm not sure they changed their menu but I hope they bring the regular ones back.
I go out of my way to stop at this bakery. Be prepared for long lines but it is worth the wait. I recommend waiting in the coffee only line on the left first if you want a drink. The iced sea salt coffee is excellent. While you are waiting for the coffee, fill a tray with your bakery treats (I love the brioche, the cream bun and the taro roll) and pay for them in the bakery line. By the time you pay, the coffee is usually ready too. Try to go at off hours so you can avoid the line out the door.
Super busy, but have tons of good pastries. Their cakes are on the mild side in terms of sweetness. That is not a bad thing though! You cant go wrong here. They have coffee and boba too.
Really not their best location. I love 85, but this location is so busy that it's never clean or restocked on trays/liners/tongs or pastries, and your drink order takes forever. Visit another location for a better experience!
Interesting fact: The brand name 85C comes from the perfect Celsius temperature to brew coffee. Here's another: 85C originated from Taiwan, and has grown into an international brand all over Asia, Australia, here in the US as well. When there is always a line at a bakery, you know the stuff is super good! Get the squid ink bun if available, and try the egg tarts too! Sea salt coffee is a must have. Another interesting fact: 85C has been referred to as the Starbucks of Asia, yet a single store can gross mich higher than a typical Starbucks there.
