From the name you gather this is a food hall only, unencumbered with the home and clothing departments. There is always a good selection here, and as you might expect this for most people is where you would look for quality food for an occasion. Also the M&S branding suggests this might be considered luxury food. Certainly meat fresh and frozen is normally very good. Prices are sometimes a bit higher, but because of the product it is hard to make a direct comparison. For me this self titled specialist shop consistently drops the fifth star because of the crazy long wait for pre-ordered meat at Christmas. Order the food for pick up the day before Christmas Eve sounds great until you turn up to collect. Yes, you might have an appointment time but so to do six others at the same time. A queue to hand in your expectation, and again to collect what you are given. This is where you find out which items are not available or have been substituted. Of course you would expect to queue to pay. Well not for me, Im off to the blue and red shop, or perhaps the green one next door.
