Ive been to Pitchers loads of times and enjoyed my experience but my last trip there my brother was refused enters because he seemed too drunk, all he was fine was having a laugh with his friend. There is no way he could be drunk since we had only been out for one drink and food before we entered the night club. But as I was raging that he wasnt allowed to get in after I had paid, they let him in. When I got into the nightclub theres was a group of young teenagers in the club, who I know and are all underage, dancing and drinking away. Then during the night nearly every boy who went into the toilet was taking something in the toilet, I was sitting next to the toilets I dont just sit and watch the toilet doors for fun, and while this was happening a bouncer was in and out the toilets all night so he must have known what was happening. Im annoyed that all this was going on and my brother was refused entry for being a happy chap. Its ridiculius bouncers acting hard to the smaller folk trying to show they have authority, acting like they are something just because they get to say who comes in to the party, like a mum choosing who says your annoying pal cant come to the sleep over. Ridiculous.
Tried to get into the night club with 4 forms of ID 2 picture and 2 with signatures identical to mine. Bouncer was having none of it despite all the minors they let in with fake ID that looks nothing like them every weekend. Not happy and will definitely not be back.
Cleanest place in town great staff and best guinness and cider around.
Many a night spent in here. Good banter at the bar with the locals and the bar staff, well priced pints, and a nightclub for those who want a dance
