Great collection of historic value. I'm a marine engineer and I will return with my kids. Plenty for kids to do without detracting from the industrial ambiance. Keep up the good work.
Interesting afternoon out with grandson and reasonable amount of childrens hands on activities to keep youngsters entertained. Staff very helpful
This Meuseum is not just a genuinely interesting insight into the history of sea in Scotland, a fantastic collection of boats and machines, but also great fun for kids! I've been twice now and still find interesting exhibits squirrelled away. The staff are brilliant and very helpful. A must visit for anyone in Irvine.
If you have been to the British maritime museum, this will look like a poor cousin. The outside looks a bit like a maritime scrap yard and really needs some sorting out. The whole thing needs a refresh and better exhibits.
Brilliant! It's so cheap to get in and you get an all day pass. There's loads to do for the kids, and plenty for the adults too. I was actually super surprised at how good it is. My kids didn't get bored and that is saying something! The guys that worked there were really friebdly, helpful and attentive too. Brilliant, honestly. Go here.
