I don't Si what all the fuss is about! Lovely location, and staff. Unfortunately the food was not up to scratch - I ordered a Caesar salad which had no anchovies and rocket leaves rather than cos or romaine lettuce. There was very little Caesar dressing and when I asked for more the staff brought me mayonnaise! Won't be rushing back.
Best place in Irvine for birthday dinners and functions. Staff are amazing and so is the food. Decor is very nice and go here on a regular basis.
Maybe not the best time to review as Christmas puts pressure on Eve venue. Works Christmas night out was rather a split company event. Booking was made in February for 14. At time of booking no mention of seating arrangements were mentioned. Only when final payment was made did they indicate booth set up. One assumed this must then be a large booth able to seat 14. No on arrival we discovered we were split between 3 booths. Our table was last to be served which in itself isn't an issue but others in our party were being served their starter as our order was being taken. Drinks orders took forever to be served. Overall not the best of service. On the bright side the food was good when it was finally served.
This was my first time here it will not be my last. My daughter s organised a party dinner for my husband and myself on Saturday night. They gave us the upstairs room,let the girls in early to decorate,served our meal with efficient and friendliness that surpassed anything i would have expected. The meal was excellent. We apologized for keeping them late and the reply was it was a pleasure to have you. They even helped us down stairs with parcels, cards and cake.
Enjoyed lunch here, very pleasant. Waiting staff highly professional and unobtrusive which enhanced visit. Varied menu and quality delivered high. Drinks menu classy and offers nonalcoholic choice which are indulgent. Not the cheapest but not just pub grub and surroundings and atmosphere reflect this.
