My grandson loves trains, Christmas lights and Santa. So... this was the perfect place to go for the holidays. Irvine park has changed since I visited there in the 1960s and 70s. I was happy for my grandson to see how much fun it could be. It must have taken weeks to put all those lights in the trees. It must have been MILLIONS of lights. Great fun but cold. The train is made for kids and does not have enough leg room for adults. Difficult on getting on and off the train
Great place to spend the day with your young family! The railroad has been running in the park for as long as I can remember as a child myself. I love bringing my grandkids here for a trip around the park, ride the ponies, visit the zoo and finish up with lunch by the lake! All in all, a great day! Bike rentals are available too.
Great place on the weekends for a family day. Pony rides for $5. You can rent horses for $55 per hour, there's a lake where you can rent a bicycle boat and start pedaling a Orange County Zoo for the kids and a safe place to walk.Is it someone's birthday? there are barbecue grills, parking is $5 per car but in general this place is just the safe that is a key thing
Nice place. A bit of a snaffu with them saying the train tickets are sold out, but the train Appeared to be running empty. There is obviously more to what meets the eye, they opened up a few tickets and we were able to enjoy the ride and Santa's village. Amazing hot chocolate.
Beautiful experience tonight for the first time we attended the Christmas train. It's awesome to see Santa Claus and Mrs. ClausWe took pictures with them and walk around taking pictures at the fantastic Christmas decorations. The family really enjoyed it.And yes we took a train ride, loved it
